I apologize for going Harley heavy on the posts today (Read my review of the 2025 Harley-Davidson Street Bob), but this one is kind of time-sensitive.
I’ve been really interested in gear lately (Perhaps because I have no money and motorcycle gear costs less than an actual motorcycle), especially after spending about two hours chatting with Royal Enfield’s gear designers at Motoverse.
More on all this at a later date, but RE’s got some really cool stuff – stylish, well thought-out, and of good quality. And there is a lot of it. Top to toe, every day of the week, and for pretty much every occasion, you could bedeck yourself in Royal Enfield-branded gear.
There is only one other company that offers a clothing and accessories range that extensive: Harley-Davidson.
To illustrate that fact, the MoCo has put together a 2025 Holiday Gift Guide loaded with everything from velour pyjamas to a travel coffee mug emblazoned with the Harley-Davidson skull logo. Because nothing says “Free From The Bonds Of Society” like a travel coffee mug.

As you can probably guess, most of this stuff is uneconomical. The most affordable thing I can find in the guide is an £11 transmission/crankcase filler funnel. You can buy a similar (possibly better, because it’s bendy) funnel at Halfords for £4.99.
But what price brand loyalty, eh?
Anyhoo, Harley is giving UK riders an opportunity to get up close and personal with some of its wares at a series of Open Houses taking place this Saturday, 13 December 2025.
“Riders and enthusiasts are invited to kick off the season Harley-style, with exclusive gift ideas, winter-ready parts and accessories, and a chance to connect with the wider H-D community,” declares a media release. “Attendees can expect a warm welcome from dealership teams who will be ready to showcase the finest Harley-Davidson motorcycles, must-have seasonal apparel, and service offerings designed to keep bikes in top condition for the next riding season.”

Specifics will depend on the particular dealership you visit, but in a best-case scenario, according to Harley’s media release, “attendees can enjoy great music, refreshments and connect with fellow riders, sharing stories and planning for the upcoming riding season.”
I suppose exactly how much fun there is to be had will depend on the weather. At Sykes Harley-Davidson in Lewes, for example, the forecast is calling for “sunny intervals” and a high of 11ºC until around 3 pm. Up at West Coast Harley-Davidson in Glasgow, it’s going to be pissing rain, with winds close to 50 mph.
“Harley-Davidson welcomes everyone to join in celebrating the season and the shared passion for the open road,” says the media release – seemingly responding to the concern that non-hardcore Harley riders would probably have about attending such an event.
You can find your nearest dealership here.
On a tangential note, I can’t help noticing that there are considerably fewer Harley-Davidson dealerships in the UK and Ireland than back in 2018 when I attempted (unsuccessfully) to ride a Street Bob to all of Harley’s UK dealerships.
Sad face. These are hard times, I suppose, for motorcycle brands that aren’t Chinese and/or selling sub-500cc motorcycles.
