Moto Guzzi has been drip feeding us with information about its V85 TT adventure bike for roughly a year now but only this week have we learned how much the thing will cost and will it hit dealerships.

In the United Kingdom, at least, the bike will be on sale in March with a starting price of £10,899. If you want the multi-color Ronald McDonald-looking bike that made me initially reject the concept you’ll be expected to shell out £11,099.

Powered by an air-cooled 850cc transverse V-twin, the Italian ADV is promising 80 horsepower at peak, and an impressive array of electronic tidbits. Certain information, like weight, remains a mystery but I’ll admit that I was intrigued by the bike when I saw it in the flesh at EICMA back in November.

My latent suspicion of Piaggio (Moto Guzzi’s parent company), along with a dearth of Moto Guzzi dealers in the area would probably keep me from seriously considering the V85 TT, even if I had the room, but I’ll admit to being pleasantly surprised by the price tag. Based on the interest the bike has managed to garner I would have expected the Italian brand to try its luck with pricing.

Admittedly, though, we don’t know what that £10,899 actually gets you. Will you have to pay extra for heated grips, handguards, center stand, etc? Will the technowhizzbangery have modes that only reveal themselves to deep-pocketed individuals (a la BMW)? No clue. Guess we’ll have to wait until March to find out.
