I like to keep track of just about any riding I do that’s more than a jaunt through the city. So, here are a few pictures from last weekend’s ride out to Dyrham Park, near Bath. It’s a quick 50-or-so miles from Penarth, with most of the riding on the motorway and therefore not terribly…

Love the description. While some of the photos may seem a bit lackluster, the others certainly make up for the lack of distinction. This looks like a place I would want to see a thousand times. . .
I have trouble with depression too, though usually it is not seasonal. I went through a period during the last few years of my previous marriage becoming horribly depressed in January every year. I think now it was partially because I wasn't getting enough sun (turned out my Vitamin D levels were very low) and because each new year reminded me my life was going nowhere.
Neither of those two factors apply now. Life can change, if one is determined enough.

It sounds like a wonderful day out. The park looks delightful. I like that you can see the valley below in the one picture.
I am glad you have a place to go and recharge your batteries (so to speak) and just reflect on how life is good.
